1.2 Buyer
The person whose name, delivery address, phone and email are entered on the checkout page (the “Buyer”).
Article 2. Subject
This contract sets out the rights and obligations of the parties in the sale and delivery of the items the Buyer orders, under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation. The pre-information form confirmed by the Buyer is part of this contract.
Article 3. Items, price and payment
The name, type and quantity of each item, the chosen size and options, and any name to engrave are shown in the order summary on the checkout page. Each item’s features (material, size, care) are on its own product page.
Prices on the product pages are in Turkish lira and do not include VAT; 20% VAT is added on the checkout page. Shipping is free; no shipping, packing or other charge is added. The total to pay, VAT included, is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Payment is taken by credit or debit card on the secure page of a licensed payment institution. Your card details never reach us.
Article 4. Delivery
Items are shipped by courier to the delivery address in Türkiye given at checkout. Shipping is free.
Your order is prepared and handed to the courier within 2 to 4 working days of the payment being confirmed; the tracking number reaches your email when it ships. Delivery never exceeds the legal limit of 30 days.
Knives are not sold to anyone under 18 (Misdemeanours Law, art. 43/C). For an order that contains a knife, the buyer declares at checkout that they are 18 or older; an order found to be placed by someone under 18 is cancelled and paid back in full.
PDF books are not shipped. Once your payment is confirmed, a download button opens on your order result page and you save the file from there. If you close the page, your order number and the email on the order bring you back to the download on the same page.
The item is delivered to the address and person the Buyer named.
Should the order become impossible to fulfil (for example, the item sells out), the Seller tells the Buyer within 3 days of learning it and pays back everything paid within 14 days at the latest.
Article 5. Right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. If several items in one order arrive separately, the 14 days start when the last one is delivered.
To withdraw, tell us within those 14 days: by email to info@serhatdogramaci.com.tr, through the Problem with my order form (choose “I would like to return it”), or in writing to the seller’s address. Your order number is all we need.
Send the item back within 10 days of telling us. Return shipping is on us: we send you a return code for our contracted courier, and you ship the item with it free of charge.
We pay back everything you paid, with no deductions, within 14 days of your withdrawal notice reaching us, as a refund to the card you paid with. How soon it shows on your account depends on your bank.
You are not responsible for changes or wear that come from using the item in line with how it works, its technical features and its instructions during the withdrawal period.
Article 6. Items that cannot be returned
Items engraved with a name at the buyer’s request are made to the buyer’s personal specification, so the right of withdrawal does not apply to them (Distance Contracts Regulation, art. 15). The product page and the cart show this before you order.
If the engraved name differs from what you wrote in your order, the item is faulty and your rights below apply in full.
PDF books are intangible goods delivered to you at once, by electronic means, when the payment completes; the right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to them (Distance Contracts Regulation, art. 15/1-ğ). The product page and the checkout page show this before you order, and the checkout page asks for your confirmation. If the file does not open, arrives incomplete or is not what you ordered, your rights for a faulty item apply in full.
Article 7. Faulty items
If an item turns out faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 (art. 11) lets you choose one of: withdrawing from the contract, a price reduction in proportion to the fault, free repair, or a replacement free of the fault. Any shipping this needs is on us.
Tell us through the Problem with my order form or by email. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, we suggest asking the courier to write a damage report on delivery; your rights stand even if you notice it later.
Article 8. Personal data
The Seller uses the Buyer’s details only to fulfil this contract and meet its legal duties, as set out in the privacy notice.
Article 9. Disputes
You can first bring any complaint to us through the channels above. In a dispute, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee where you live or where you made the purchase (also online through e-Devlet, TÜBİS); above those limits, to the Consumer Court.
Article 10. Entry into force
The contract is formed when the Buyer reads and confirms the pre-information form and this contract on the checkout page. A copy of both, filled in with the order, is emailed to the Buyer; the Seller keeps these records for the period the law requires.
